It is peaceful at home. The rhythm of the waking, the coffee, the Bible, the homeschooling, the music, the art....it is an atmosphere in which I am truly happy.
Breakfast was eggs and hazelnut coffee. Mopping the kitchen floor brought harmony to a previously discordant space. Math took a relatively easy approach, offering us prime and compound numbers to study. Our devotion was out of Psalm 91.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler.
I take comfort knowing I am as a bird in the hand of the Lord, snatched from a trap laid in my path, protected, shielded, watched over, loved.
To the soundtrack of Franz Liszt and Glenn Buhr my boys and I created art together. We used sheet music as the canvas and creativity as the process.
